Financial Literacy for Teens and Young Adults

June 25 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Money is a sticky subject, and one that it is hard to get straight answers about.

  • Opening a bank account, where, how?
  • A physical or online bank?
  • Is savings in a bank account worth it?
  • Is saving anything worth it when you don’t have enough coming in to save?
  • Is college worth it?
  • Is the stock market something I can participate in?
  • Credit cards, how many should I get?
  • What is the “side hustle”?
  • What is the “gig economy?”
  • What is bitcoin and how does it work?
  • Scraping by. Saving. Spending.
  • What is good money hygiene?

Offered as part of our grant-funded LEGIT program for teens, this Financial Literacy workshop will answer your money questions and spur new questions you never thought of.

Please RSVP if you can by stopping by and letting us know, calling us at 518-398-1927 or  here: https://tinyurl.com/yyreyee6
